The casting hall of the Sayner Hütte was built between 1828 and 1830 and is considered an early milestone of industrial architecture. Its delicate cast iron structure continues to define the building today and is also reflected in the design.
Dark steel blue and vivid orange draw on the colours and materiality of the site. Noir Pro is used as the typeface, a sans serif designed by Milos Mitrovic for Mindburger Studio. Its geometric forms refer to typefaces of the early twentieth century, while its rounded shapes make it appear less severe. In the visual identity of the Sayner Hütte, it therefore echoes the lightness of the iron and glass construction.
On this basis, programmes, posters, campaigns and digital applications are created that develop and modify the visual identity according to the occasion.
The corporate design was developed by ConceptX in Koblenz.
