A new website was created for the Mozart Society Stuttgart on the basis of the corporate design developed by Engenhart Design Studio. The idea of connecting historical and contemporary design is continued digitally. Mozart's portrait sits within the circular symbol, while large typography and open space move the visual identity beyond a purely classical concert context.
Playfair Display is used for large headings. Designed by Claus Eggers Sørensen, the typeface is based on transitional serif typefaces of the late eighteenth century. It is paired with IBM Plex Sans, introduced as IBM's new corporate typeface in 2018. Its objective grotesque form provides a clear contrast to Playfair Display.
The Mozart Society Stuttgart was founded in 1952 and is dedicated to preserving and communicating Mozart's work. Through concerts, events and collaborations, it places his music in a contemporary cultural context and addresses both experienced concert audiences and new listeners.
